Job Title: Health and Safety Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION
- Produce risk assessments for the various on-site machinery and work areas
- Chair meetings with key people regarding health and safety at work
- Take ownership for all H&S within the organisation in collaboration with our H&S supplier
- Complete weekly/monthly checks on equipment
- Conduct necessary fire and alarm checks on frequency required
- Manage ISO9001 standard for quality as well as annual audits
- Manage our TISAX standards for data management and prototype security as well as necessary audits
- Manage suppliers to ensure all equipment is serviced to required standards and highlight areas for improvement
- Ensure day to day H&S policies are enforced via spot checks and toolbox talks
- Provide necessary training to staff to ensure H&S requirements are met
- Complete PAT testing across the business (training can be provided)
- Highlight areas where processes can be improved and manage/negotiate with suppliers to provide solutions
- Manage company security in terms of processing and removal of ID cards and keyholding
- Take leadership and initiative in putting together the company Environmental Policy and work towards achieving an ISO14001 qualification
THE PERSON
- High attention to detail and appreciation for quality
- Positive attitude to work hard within a team and alone
- Problem solver and ability to work to strict deadlines
- Good Microsoft Office experience
- Experience working within a H&S environment
- Previous experience working with ISO audits/compliance is preferrable
- Understanding of risk assessments and their production
