Position Description:
The Electrical Engineer supports the UK Electrical Engineering team with specific projects, helping to shape the future of our Client’s product portfolio. A key part of the role is to support the EE components development and testing activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the electrical design team and PD departmental meetings.
- Deliver technical and testing support for electrical components on multiple motorcycle development programmes.
- Understand and preparation of EE system layout & schematic circuits.
- Design and implement electrical systems/ components for new and updated motorcycles.
- Preparation of 2D engineering drawings for electrical components.
- Understand and preparation of 3D CAD models to derive packaging for electrical components.
- Follow up and maintain design, operational and quality procedures.
- Produce supporting documentation and packaging layouts for electrical systems as required example: Circuit diagrams for service manuals, TDL’s.
- Liaise with internal departments such as Vehicle development, Testing, Sourcing, Manufacturing and Quality.
- Liaise with outside suppliers.
Experience Required:
- Strong knowledge in fundamentals of Electrical and Electronics.
- Knowledge in electrical testing - Experience in Electrical components validation.
- Experience in Failure simulation and root cause analysis.
- Knowledge in DVP preparation.
- Experience in electrical test rigs and instrumentation.
- Two-wheeler electrical testing experience-Preferable.
- Good communication skills.

Education Required:
- Degree -Electrical and Electronics Eng. with 2 years’ minimum experience in relevant field.
