Our automotive OEM based in Dunton are looking a UX Innovation Designer/ Prototyping to join their team.

Designing User Experience (UX) vision for Commercial Vans Create UX vision for Commercial Van customers across hardware, software & service
Create material to communicate the UX proposals to internal and end customers.
Facilitate & Support X-functional workshops
Create rapid prototypes to explore & develop solutions
Specify functional requirements to support the building of higher fidelity prototypes
Support teams to develop UX proposals through the implementation phases Inspire the company to deliver User focused experiences

Skills Required:
Support Innovation idea generation workshops
Develop Idea Design with Basic solutions across engineering and services to generate production feasible solutions
Create Idea Stimulus for Research events to clearly define and communicate the idea in a timely manner.
Create Story Boards/Images for Management Reviews and Program Gateway Papers in a timely manner
Produce Animations of more complex ideas to present idea clearly
Good Sketching Skills are required using the following tools Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop Alias Adobe Flash Adobe Premiere
Develop relationships with key functions Design, Engineering, Marketing, IT & Service Development Produce prototypes to explore and iterate experiences
Experience of rapid prototyping techniques across multiple disciplines
Experience of service design
Experience of Design Thinking Processes & Techniques

Skills Preferred:
Able to work collaboratively across global regions understanding different customer needs
Able to work collaboratively across various functions (e.g. Marketing, Design, Engineering) incorporating input into design solutions
Experience in exhibition/set design

Experience Required:
Need to be able to demonstrate experience of working in an industrial environment.
Developing product/experience/service ideas through to implementation.

Experience Preferred:
Experience of working in Design Thinking Project Teams

Education Required:
Degree Level: Industrial Design; Innovation Design; UX Design or equivalent

Additional Information :
Able to travel to support workshops and hold reviews with stakeholders Knowledge of Automotive architecture and engineering Flexible on working hours to support workload peaks as required Travel: Yes, liaise with teams in Germany
