Position Description:
This role will support the design, management, checking, and analysis of a diverse range of data using a variety of tools at Gaydon to achieve consistent data sharing across the organisation. Working with a number of the Design Teams, the individual will be responsible for producing detailed reports that will be used to demonstrate KPI’s.
It will involve translating business problems/requirements into analytics, developing new analytics products for the Design function, working with the Business Planning Manager and Model Planning Manager to prioritise projects. Develop, implement and enhance analytic approaches.
Conceptualise, develop, and manage the delivery and optimisation of analytics solutions; ensuring the solution meets business needs. Monitor statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development. Identify, analyse, and inpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and communicate conclusions to the business. Embed the solution in the business where small scale technical change is required. Provide support for the analytics products created.
Skills Required:
- Experience in various data management tools (e.g. Tableau, SQL, Google BigQuery).
- Experience in detailed report preparation and presentation.
- Experience with ETL, data pipelining and transformation.
Skills Preferred:
- Experience of Wrike.
- Knowledge of programming languages (especially SQL & Python).
- Relevant previous experience in Business Processes.
- Significant experience of collaboration and cross functional team working.
- Extensive experience with MS Office suite: Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.
