Position Description:
Our automotive OEM Client is searching for a highly skilled Visualisation Artist, who will be responsible for the delivery of still images, animation & live data reviews (including VR) for presentations within design to help inform the development of future vehicles.
The ideal candidate will focus on setting up and maintaining master VRED models to track the development of the vehicles through the design process and creating visualisation assets at key gateways and presentations for senior design leadership. The work will require a large amount of collaboration with other teams including creative design, colour & materials, engineering and the modelling teams to ensure that the visualisation assets presented are accurate.
Willingness to learn current workflows to make sure presentations are in a consistent level of quality & style to help the design decision making process. You will need a good knowledge of current automotive visualisation processes and looking out for future developments from outside the traditional automotive area that we can utilise like Unreal engine.
Skills Required:
- Generate high quality still images, animation & live data reviews (including VR) for presentations.
- Set up and maintain data for master visualisation models in Vred to track the development of the design.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and use reference documents to ensure work is accurate.
Experience Required:
- Experience of the automotive design process and ability to present to and collaborate with both colleagues and other teams.
- Highly skilled visualisation artist in Vred, Photoshop & After Effects and a working knowledge of Alias for data preparation.
Experience Preferred:
Leadership experience is desired as well as knowledge of surrounding workflows and software like Alias modelling, Unreal, Maya Vray, Icem
