Our Client based in London, UK is seeking an experienced and pragmatic interior designer to join their growing team as a permanent member of staff. The ideal candidate will meet the below job description and as the role will be based in UK, must have citizenship to the UK.
Role Description:
The role will be heavily focused around creative interior design solutions. It is a permanent full-time position to be based in Paddington, London.
Experience Required:
- Extensive experience of working within an automotive OEM is required, preferably 5-10 years
- A highly creative and innovative mindset
Essential Skills:
- Excellent creative and presentation skills including Advanced use of Photoshop, Illustrator, VRed or similar software.
- A good understanding of automotive interior design, combined with good aesthetic judgement, colour vision and colour perception.
- Ability to plan and undertake projects to a strict deadline.
- Knowledge of automotive materials, processes and suppliers with a high degree of competitor awareness.
- Ability to adjust to changing design, feasibility and cost requirements.
- Self-motivated, meticulous, conscientious, tenacious and enthusiastic.
- Good communication skills and the ability to relate to all levels of staff and management and be a good team.
- Work with interaction team to create designs with excellent HMI
Education Required:
- Educated to degree level is preferred.
