Job Title: Business Manager

Reporting To: Board of Directors

Location: Rowley Drive, Stonebridge Trading Estate, Coventry, West Midlands, CV3 4FG

Contract Type: Permanent

Futura Design are an automotive prototype manufacturer based in Coventry, West Midlands. We are an SME business circa £12 million turnover founded in 1987, operating from a 15,000 square foot purpose-built design and engineering centre. As a result of a sustained period of growth, Futura Design are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Business Manager to grow their current team. Our industry is fast-paced and going through a period of rapid change with the emergence of start-up companies and the move towards electrification, we are looking for the right person to join us on that journey.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Work with Senior Director’s to be a point of contact for day-to-day management of the business activities
  • Work under guidance from Board of Director’s to produce and manage ISO quality and information security standards
  • Help to manage the diaries of senior people within the business to ensure important meetings are in place
  • Assist with the training needs within the business, assessing and identifying opportunities
  • Manage the onboarding of new starters within the company from inductions to employment paperwork
  • Help manage the HR within the business with assistance from senior management
  • Assist with the administration across the business including CRM system and finance
  • Work with Senior management and Directors to help assess and implement Health and Safety best practice
  • Work with current and prospective suppliers to ensure compliance, quality and value for money
  • Work with Directors to develop business strategy

THE PERSON

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • High attention to detail and confident communicator
  • Strong experience in administerial role
  • Experience working with ISO quality standards is beneficial but not essential
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Positive attitude to work hard within a team and alone
  • Problem solver and ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Ability to create and then present to key stakeholders inside the business
  • Highly energetic and have a passion for teamwork and delivery
