Our OEM Client based in Solihull, is searching for an Electrical Engineer to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position with a proposed end date of 31st March 2027.
Umbrella Pay Rate: £27.03 per hour.
Position Description:
Electrical Engineering research, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
Responsibilities typically include:
- Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision.
- Coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level professionals.
- Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
- Part of the wider launch team, supporting new vehicle launch readiness.
- Previous launch experience around End of line and integration support mandatory.
- Canalyser and other Dev-aids experience essential.
- The role is Onsite support and will vary across various vehicle related systems.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Ability to work on their own and as part of a Launch team.
- Must have a driving license as may be required to move vehicles and verify functionality.
- Ability to ready Electrical diagrams and experience of vehicle launches.
- Conversant with software download tools.
- Able to work in a launch Environment.
- Motivated and good understanding of vehicle launch and supporting plant activities and crisis reviews.
- Quality mindset essential.
Education Required:
- Computer literate.
- Educated to HNC or degree level.
