Our OEM Client based in Gaydon, is searching for a Senior Project Scheduler to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position with a proposed end date of 31st March 2027.
Umbrella Pay Rate: £33.64 per hour.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Lead role specific departmental activity.
- Ensure stakeholder alignment for all role specific tasks.
- Ensure clear communication plans are executed.
- Demonstrate excellent business behaviours including team working.
- Deliver EO Master Schedule plans for ALL projects in the space, on time using the latest information.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Working with the Pre-KO cross functional teams, establish aligned programme content.
- Responsible for creating the EO Master schedules on behalf of the Engineering Operations team, in the Pre-KO phase programmes, using the project Timing plans
- Responsible for handover of EO Master schedules to the relevant EO project team as the project travels through.
- Responsible for establishing and running the Pre-KO Engineering Operations Sync session.
- Responsible for analysing project Engineering Operations timing constraints using vehicle and unit timing plans, and EO Master Schedule documents
- Responsible for preparing reporting decks to communicate project summaries to be used in the EO Architecture reviews.
- Responsible for assisting EO team with major plan updates (driven by significant shifts in programme timing).
- Manage EO critical path template, ensuring continual improvement and alignment to the EO Framework.
Key Interactions:
- Engineering Operation teams, namely Product Information, Engineering Delivery, Prototype Build Operations, Test & Development teams, Propulsion Build & Test Operations, Vehicle Build & Test Operations, Unit & Vehicle Programme Teams, Programme Planning & Vehicle Engineering.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a similar role in Project Management with track record of delivery.
- End to end understanding of automotive project delivery, from concept through to final testing activity.
- Proven ability to create complex plans ensuring dependant activities are linked.
- Experienced in using planning software tool.
- Ability to consume large amounts of detailed information and summarise succinctly.
- Ability to present complex data & issues to a varied audience.
- Negotiation and adaptability skills.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience Requested:
- Understanding of commodity delivery plans.
- Experience of stakeholder management at all levels.
- Project management qualification.
