Description

Our OEM Client based in Solihull, is searching for a Communication and Engagement Specialist to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a 12-month contract position initially until 13th April 2026.

Umbrella Pay Rate: £29.90 per hour.

The Communication and Engagement Specialist's objective is ensuring robust delivery of incremental deployment releases to business end-users, getting the organisation engaged and ready for the change, and ensuring that the change is adopted and sustained.

In order to achieve this, the Communication and Engagement Specialist will be able to monitor and manage the impact of change.

Key Activities Include:

  • Describing and communicating the impact of process changes on business roles and relationship to user access within the tools.
  • Identifying stakeholders and end users in scope for deployment activities.
  • Support on-boarding of Early Adopters and Super Users.
  • Conducting business change impact assessments with relevant Senior Stakeholders in preparation of a deployment.
  • Creating stakeholder communication and engagement plans and supporting the communication of these to relevant End-Users.
  • Supporting business interactions with matched pair Process Leads and Key Stakeholders in the development of global business processes.
  • Ensure 'Idea to Product' global business processes maintain alignment with the overall Transformation Process Architecture and are compliant with set regulations and standards.
  • Develop, deploy and maintain an effective and comprehensive communications strategy that delivers value, promotes user engagement and adoption and celebrates successful milestone achievements, aligned with and complimenting manufacturing system deployments.

Skills Required:

  • You'll need some experience or exposure working on transformational projects.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Experience of collaboration and cross functional team working.
  • Strong Stakeholder Management skills.
  • Set high standards for written materials and diligently follow them personally and hold others to account to achieve.
  • Create standard timing plans for business change and readiness activities.
  • Experience in developing communication strategies, plans and the successful implementation of critically evaluated information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
  • Liaise between the business, technology teams and support teams.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent working experience is preferred.

Primary Skills Required:

  • Strong communicator.
  • Stakeholder engagement.
  • Self-directed and self-motivated.
  • Microsoft Excel and Plan creation.

Additional Experience Preferred:

  • Familiarity working in a manufacturing facility or environment.
  • Experience of using Atlassian applications, e.g., JIRA / Confluence.
  • Experience of Agile.
  • Experience in change, communication and engagement in previous roles.
